It's so absolutely great to hear such good music
anywhere, especially emanating from Green Bay, which, in the
'70's, definitely had the seedlings (from certain talented
people, including Randy) of good rocking to come, if that
talent was nurtured. Randy nurtured his talent, and now we
can reap the rewards of that. Author: Linda

2007 Release: If this don’t make you wanna move, “See a Doctor!”
Author: Tony Mastrianni--national music writer
Nearly
two decades strong this Green Bay blues trio is right on, and this CD
culls the best tracks from their five lps (including many live
faves). Play it again and again, and play it LOUD while we wait
for the soon to be issued new CD. Okay, what makesthese guys so
unique? Not repetitious sloppy blues. Inspired by Jimi and Stevie
Ray, yes, but they never fall prey to sloppy chords of mindless boogey
fretting. Randy's guitars and Ginny's bass are fresh and layered
freshly across the musicscape--whistle clean and inspiring from the get
go! I also find it highly original that many of the vocals have a
retro psychedelic flavor. For those of you who remember Fleetwood Mac's
classic blues
LP THEN PLAY ON and the song "Oh Well" you'll get the idea. Sound is fresh and Ginny Lee may be most unheralded bassist in the land. Combination of covers and impressive original comps. Even if the Packers never beat the Cowboys. LITTLE CISCO does the blues proud - Texas style!!! |

"Being a rock and roll dad and electric children’s songwriter and recording
artist I know that kids like what their parents listen too. If your family digs
the rockin’ blues music style of Stevie Ray Vaughn or roots rock like Tom Petty
and you already have every Dan Zanes CD playing in your minivan, check out this
CD. Little Cisco is the real thing, a full time working/touring rockin’ blues
group for grown-ups. Randy Cisco (leader and guitar slinger) wrote and recorded
this awesome collection of tunes for children of the blues. Trust me, you’re gonna dig it!" Mr. Billy - Kids Rock & Roll Singer/Songwriter |

2005 IN THE DOG HOUSE "is just one heck of a heart pounding, high energy mix of straight ahead rock n' blues." "As a guitar lover, I quickly fell in love with In the Dog House. Randy Siscoe belts out incendiary riffs on his stratocaster that are in the same class with the other blues masters past and present. Whether setting the tone with an authoritative string of notes as on "That old Blues", or pointing the way with his ass kicking axe-work on the rocking "Red Light", or smoothly sliding catchy chords for the pulsating title track, Siscoe is an absolute delight to listen to, and luckily the music is steeped in his fantastic solos. ![]() | JUST BOOGIE Uppity-jump blues is what the title track, "Just Boogie" is all about. It has a supersonic tempo with drivin' old rock rhythms. Its speedy take off may leave you with a bit of whiplash; hold on 'cause the ride's not over. "It's Not My Fault" has rockin', tenacious vocals and hot-fretted axe grinding. Lee's pounding bass lines gives "Just A Start" a heavy rhythm line as Little Cisco enlivens the tune with a splendid, solid guitar work down. Watch out for "I'm So Low"; it's a thumper by any standard the heavy, grindin' Ginny Lee bass is complemented by Siscoe's sanitized guitar licks! Haunting vocal work by Little Cisco dignifies "Don't Run & Hide"; as, the hot drumming by Panosh pushes its edge. "Fast Car" is the cooker ... it's got lightnin' slide guitar ... the bass gauge spinning ... and drums beating at the speed of sound. Don't get run over! |
